My Garage door opener had failed after 10 years, supplied by Vicway. Contacted other vendors/repairers no one would commit to a quote or call without pre-booking information, where I’d be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. I decided to find out if Vicway still operated, yes they did, called in at their factory, showed them photos of my old opener, they said no parts available for my model. On the spot they gave me a reasonable quote to fit replacement unit, and would install it the next day. Installation happened before midday, bit of an increase in original quote as my door was custom size, still very reasonable. After having a new motor fitted via a 3rd party fitter I had a few issues with the door operation. However Sam is a total gentleman and drove all the way out to woodend to meet me at 0630 to troubleshoot the issue.
